We are a family who has fallen in love with this beautiful mountain called Pelion! For the past 40 years we have been spending many months each year in the village of Agios Georgios Nilias enjoying the tranquility and slow pace of this region in Pelion. Moreover, we have invited many friends those years that in their turn have fallen in love and keep visiting this place ever since! 

A few years ago, we decided to share this place with other people form around the world, thus creating PELION HOMES.

Stathis 

Meet Stathis, owner and leader of Pelion Homes, driven by his passions for Pelion, architecture, and travel. After two years in South America and a decade in London, he returned to rediscover this magnificent region and share it with the world. Stathis believes real luxury is found in special moments with loved ones amid untouched nature. He personally tends to every detail, from thoughtful design to revealing Pelion’s hidden gems. With Stathis and his team, you’ll have an effortless, unforgettable stay—and plenty of reasons to return.

Nicholas

Meet Nicholas—he discovered Pelion while touring Greece and instantly fell in love, calling it his home and paradise ever since. Before finishing his studies, he traveled around Europe, Dubai, Morocco, Bali, Thailand, and Australia, believing that travel expands minds and enriches personal growth.

From the early days, Nicholas has played a key role in developing our retreat center, fostering strong relationships with facilitators and connecting people worldwide. After many years here, he has endless tips and recommendations to help visitors explore this beautiful region!

Virginia

Meet Virginia (Pachamama) - a passionate mover, spiritual explorer, and creative soul who has practiced Capoeira and yoga for years. Beyond sharing her love for movement, art, music, and travel, she now leads our kitchen with her incredible sourdough baking and vegan farm-to-table creations. Through her culinary delights, yoga, and artistic pursuits, Virginia embodies a holistic approach to nourishment—of both body and soul.

Maria 

Maria is the hidden treasure of PELION HOMES! Married to Dimitris for many many years, they both share they love of Pelion! Maria has a background in interior design and scenography, no wonder that those tiny details that make all that difference are in place in every single house. She loves to take care of people and she has put a lot of her heart in this place. 

Eleftheria

Eleftheria  is our superstar! She is the housekeeper for most of the houses and she is the one to make sure that each one is spotless clean and ready for you! She has put a lot of love to this place and she takes care of all the little details that welcome you here at Pelion Homes. 

Maria (the local cook!) 

Maria is our local ally when it comes to private dinning services and when preparing the food for our seminars! She is living in the  village of Gatzea and she knows very well to prepare local delicacies and authentic Hellenic recipies! She is also a connoisseur of wild herbs and wild mushrooms and we love going foraging in the forest with her to find those hidden  treasures! Finally, she can teach you how to open a traditional phyllo pastry and  bake a pie with her! Just ask us to arrange it for you.
