Trip to Trikeri

Once you leave Pelion Homes, head towards Argalasti. You can stop for an ice-cream or a quick coffee at the village square of Argalasti. then drive towards Chorto, Milina and finally to Trikeri. The beaches after Milina are not so great, but the scenery is spectacular. Stop at Jasteny beach for a photo opportunity. 

The only accessible beach in this region is Alogoporos with its loving pebbles. If you love scuba diving, here you will discover one of the best destinations for sea exploration in this region. Alternatively, you can take the boat and visit the little island of Palio Trikeri (Old Trikeri) and visit Prasini Ammos beach (in Greek: Green Sand) with its crystal waters. You should definitely visit the monastery of Panagia Evagelistra (Virgin Mary) built in 1835. Don’t miss ‘Agia Kyriaki’ village. It is an old scenic fishermen’s village stuck in time. Here you can have fresh fish for lunch or dinner. 

Alternatively, go to ‘Kottes’ village few kilometres outside of Trikeri for a fish feast while watching the fishermen unload their fresh catch. 

* It will take you 1,5 to 2 hours to reach Trikeri from the house to cross the 50km drive.  So it's an early start full day to enjoy! 😎
